Daily Prompt: Moment of Kindness
Since I haven’t been motivated to post much lately, I figured I’d do some daily prompts occasionally. Maybe this will help me get back on track. 🙂
Today’s prompt is “Moment of Kindness”
While on vacation in California with my parents, we stopped at a Harley Davidson shop. My father collects the t-shirts of various places he goes as they always have where the shop is. My son and I wandered around waiting for Grandpa to make his final decision. On the checkout counter, there was this slightly beat up poster of the Avengers. I told my son that it was too bad we didn’t live near here, that we’d ask them for this poster when they were finished displaying it. A salesman happened to be wandering by when I said this. He told me they had more in the back and that he’d give us one. A few minutes later, he came out with a brand new poster, which he proceeded to roll up and put a rubber band on before handing it to my son. My very delighted son. My father took especial care not to smash the poster every time he loaded and unloaded luggage from the trunk of the car. The poster now hangs in the room of a very happy little boy.
Oh that is wonderful!

I thought so. I was very surprised that they didn’t charge us for it as HD seems to charge a lot for anything with their name or logo.
