Tarot Journaling: 5 of Stones

5 of Stones – Endurance:  A child sits at the mouth of a cave poking at a small fire while lighting flashes in the sky above.

This is an interesting card for 9/11 aka Patriot Day and not just for me.  Funny thing is that this card has never popped up in a reading before.  In fact, I don’t ever remember seeing it before today…

To paraphrase the authors:  Life is a contact sport.  There will be trials.  There will be challenges.  There will be bruises.   Maintain a resilient mind and a sense of humor for tomorrow the sun will rise on another day filled with opportunities.

Don’t get caught up in the tragedy, the tales of survivors, the tales of responders.  Don’t wallow in the sad feelings that reoccur on this day.  Do your best to make the most of what is here, right now.  Endure.  Survive.  Live.  Make the world a better place.

Worked on housework and took my son to swim lessons.  Made my mother a bracelet for her birthday (more on that tomorrow).  That’s about it.
