work in progress
I’ve been working on a camping chart. Tell me what you think.
Will be done on oatmeal colored evenweave. The green will be a variegated green and brow. The water will be a variegated blue. It seems like it is missing something but darned if I can figure out what and neither of my guys have been helpful. For animals there is an Albert squirrel, stellar jay, rainbow trout, wood duck, deer and butterfly (all of which we have seen on our camping trips…ok maybe not the wood duck but they are my favorite duck). This is a combination of two charts plus a lot of my own thrown in. Cartoonier than I would like but really I’m not an artist just rather finicky.
Any way, let me know what you think.
Hmm I don’t see the deer, and would it be worth having a tent somewhere?

we don’t tent camp so I didn’t put on in…the deer is in the trees in the background, right side. (In other words, very tiny.)

ah okay – hmm to me without a tent or RV this doesn’t scream camping – this says day trip to do a spot of fishing – still can barely see the deer even though you have pointed it out

Yeah I kept the deer small because a) they tend to keep their distance and b) I couldn’t figure out how to draw one a bit bigger that still looked like a deer. 🙂 I kept the picture itself small on this post to keep people for thieving but when Liz reblogged it, I see that WordPress made it larger anyway. Sheesh. 😉

love the design but also wondered about a tent, but take your point.

Thanks. Which is why I asked for help. I need something else that says camping without sticking the mode in it. This means no tent, RV, etc. What about a coffee pot?

Now I have created my own chart and had good response to it I wondered if anyone is interested in camping and this original design.
