Dreams of old loves

One of the things I do on a regular basis is dream about old loves and crushes. The dreams are usually set in modern times, though sometimes alternate realities where my husband doesn’t exist in my life.  It is really bizarre.  I dream about a childhood through high school on again, off again boyfriend; about a guy in high school who I never dated; a guy I dated in Junior High and in High School; and I even occasionally dream about my (ex) OSO.  I can’t remember the last time I dreamed about my husband.  I don’t understand the point of these dreams.  If they happened once or twice, I would dismiss them as just something random, but they don’t.  Just bizarre.
